Association Announces 2019 Class of Fellows

Five members awarded AAEA’s highest honor

The Agricultural & Applied Economics Association (AAEA) has named five members to the 2019 class of Fellows. AAEA recognizes a small group of professionals each year who have made outstanding continuous contributions to the profession. They are named AAEA Fellows and recognized at the Annual Meeting. This is AAEA's most prestigious honor. The AAEA Fellows page lists those that have been given this designation. Full biographies of each Fellow can be found in the proceedings issue of AJAE in the year in which they received the designation.

Fellows will receive their awards at the 2019 Awards & Fellows Recognition Ceremony at the 2019 AAEA Annual Meeting, Monday, July 22, 2019, 6:00 pm – 7:15 pm.

About 1,400 participants are expected to attend the 2019 AAEA Annual Meeting, which will take place on July 21-23 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis in downtown Atlanta.
