The 2023 AAEA Annual Meeting selected presentation session “Methodological Advances in Non-market Valuation” brings together methodological advances in non-market valuation techniques. From choice experiment design to matching hedonic estimators, then to using cell phone big data to elicit recreational demands, papers in this session propose state-of-the-art methods and offers practical guidance to non-market valuation practitioners.
