2020 USDA NASS Advisory Committee Update

Six AAEA members added to the advisory committee membership

Six AAEA members have been added to the 2020 USDA NASS Advisory Committee on Agriculture Statistics in July. Members of the committee serve for a 2-year term with the purpose to advise the Secretary of Agriculture on the scope, timing, and content of the periodic censuses and surveys of agriculture. They will also help recommend content of agricultural reports and present views and needs for data of major suppliers and users of agricultural statistics.
