Abstract/Presentation Information

AAEA sent session information to speakers/presenters from the Abstract Management System which includes the scheduled date and time (subject to change). If you have not received the email yet, please be sure to check your spam/junk folder. If you are still unable to find it, please reach out to the AAEA business office at info@aaea.org.

If there have been any changes to your presentation (i.e. speaker change, title change, or would like to withdraw) please reach out to the AAEA Business Office at info@aaea.org so the 2025 AAEA & WAEA Joint Annual Meeting schedule can be edited accordingly.

Presenter/Participant Requirements

In order to participate in the 2025 AAEA & WAEA Joint Annual Meeting, presenters must meet three requirements by using the email address this email was sent to:

  • **May 14, 2025 by 11:59 pm CST
    1. Be a 2025 AAEA member.
    2. Register for the 2025 AAEA & WAEA Joint Annual Meeting.
  • *June 18, 2025 by 11:59 pm CST
    1. Upload a finished paper and/or poster (PDF) to the AAEA Abstract Management System.
      An uploaded manuscript is required by the presenter of: Selected Presentations Papers, Posters, and Lightning; Invited Papers; Case Studies; as well as Organized Symposiums. A personalized link to upload your paper will be in the email from the Abstract Management System. Track session presentations are not required to upload a manuscript.

**If your institution will be registering you for the Annual Meeting or renewing your membership, it is your responsibility to ensure that they have done so prior to the May 14 deadline.

*Updated versions may be submitted after the June 18 deadline by emailing Danielle Becker at AgEcon by emailing becke073@umn.org.

Failure to complete requirements by May 14, 2025 as well as the June 18, 2025 deadline, will result in your paper and/or poster being withdrawn from the program. If you would like to withdraw your paper or poster, you must notify the AAEA business office of your intentions at info@aaea.org or (414) 918-3190. 

Poster Information

All posters will be displayed Sunday through Tuesday.  Poster presentations will take place during the Poster Reception, which is scheduled for Monday, July 28 from 4:15 pm until 5:30 pm.

agricultural or applied economics, or a related discipline. Guest fees include the
welcome reception, plenary sessions, and all concurrent sessions

CANCELLATIONS:
Cancellations of meeting registrations are subject to a $50 processing fee. After July 3, no refunds will be given for meeting registrations or special event tickets. To cancel your Annual Meeting registration and/or special event tickets, contact the AAEA Business Office at (414) 918-3190 or info@aaea.org. Website: www.aaea.org. If AAEA cancels the meeting, any paid meeting registration fees will be fully refunded.

This year there are a number of Luncheons and Pre/Post-conference Workshops to choose from. Review the Section Lectures & Luncheons , and reserve a spot. Space is limited, so register early to reserve a place to hear the lecture, enjoy lunch, and network!

Funding Opportunities

Travel Grants

  • These grants defray housing and transportation costs associated with attending the 2025 AAEA & WAEA Joint Annual Meeting in Denver, CO, July 27 - 29, 2025. The amount of the travel grant awarded will depend on the number of applications received. There are Travel Grants for both International and Domestic travel and the deadline to apply for either is May 23, 2025.

  • The AAEA Annual Meeting is a perennial cornerstone component of the organization. We look forward to another successful meeting July 27-29, 2025 in Denver, CO at the AAEA & WAEA Joint Annual Meeting. The typical slate of pre- and post-conference workshops, keynote addresses, concurrent sessions, reunions and much more are scheduled, and will again offer attendees numerous learning and networking opportunities. 

    Core to ongoing successful Annual Meetings is robust attendance and participation of our Members. Meanwhile, some AAEA Members have experienced significant challenges associated with lost employment in calendar year 2025. The AAEA wants to acknowledge this and invites and encourages Members who have lost employment in 2025 to log-in to the AAEA Member Account and see what support is available to partially assist in their attending this year’s Annual Meeting.
     
  • AAEA is not providing onsite childcare in Denver; however, you may apply for childcare/accessibility funds by filling out this form
