AAEA Membership provides access to and support for professionals in the field of agricultural and applied economics. Please use one of the forms below to join AAEA or renew your AAEA membership for 2013.

Join AAEA/Renew Your Membership for 2013

  • Renew Your Membership
    If you have previously been a member of AAEA, you can use this form to pay your dues online with a Credit Card, or generate an invoice for your membership.
  • Join AAEA
    You can use this form to join AAEA, if you are new to AAEA. (Current and former members should use the renewal form above.)
  • PDF Form
    You can also download a PDF version of the form and fax or mail it to the AAEA Business Office with payment.

All AAEA memberships are for a calendar year (January through December). Memberships renewed after April 1 are considered delinquent and are not eligible to receive back issues of AAEA publications. AAEA membership benefits include:

  • Electronic access to AAEA Publications, including AJAE, AEPP, and The Exchange
  • Participation in the Annual Meeting
  • Networking Opportunities at the Annual Meeting, on the AAEA website, and through the AAEA Membership Directory
  • Discounted Rates on AAEA Services, including Annual Meeting Registrations

AAEA Membership Types and Rates
Regular: $90
Regular membership is open to any individual professionally interested in the fields of agricultural and applied economics.
Senior: $50
Senior membership is open to those who are age 65 or older and retired.
Early Career Professional: $50
Early career professional membership is open to those who have graduated within the last three years.
Student: $25
Student membership is available for anyone currently pursuing a degree.
LI-LMI: $25
A reduced rate is available to individuals who are a citizen of and reside in a country on the World Bank's list of low income/lower-middle income countries.

 

AAEA Sections

AAEA members also have the opportunity to join AAEA Sections. These small groups are organized by and for AAEA members with similar interests and are designed to assist members as they network in their areas of research and personal interest. New members can choose to join a section when they complete the membership form.
