Notifications for the 2024 AAEA Annual Meeting were sent on March 26. Please check your email (and spam/junk folders) or log into the abstract management system to view your standing and schedule.
Presenter Requirements by May 15, 2024In order to participate in the 2024 AAEA Annual Meeting, presenters of accepted abstracts MUST meet the three requirements outlined below:
*If your institution will be registering you for the Annual Meeting or renewing your membership it is your responsibility to ensure that they have done so prior to the May 15 deadline.
Presentations are subject to withdrawal from the program if requirements are not completed by May 15 at 11:59 pm CST. If you would like to withdraw your paper, you must notify the AAEA business office of your intentions at (414) 918-3190 or info@aaea.org.
Schedules for Selected Presentations and Track sessions were sent out on April 24 & 25. Please check your email (and spam/junk folders). If you have not received an email please reach out to info@aaea.org to obtain your schedule information. Please note, emails were only sent to those listed as the presenter on your presentation.
New in 2024 all posters will be displayed Sunday through Tuesday. Posters must be removed by 4:30 pm on Tuesday. Poster presentations will take place on Monday during the poster reception from 4:15 pm – 5:30 pm.
Early registration for 2024 AAEA Annual Meeting in New Orleans, LA July 28-30 will be ending on May 31 at 11:59 pm CST. As of June 1 registration prices will increase. Take advantage of the lower prices by registering prior to May 31. You can register online now or download the form.

| *Guest Registration: Attendees are encouraged to bring spouses, friends, and family to the Annual Meeting. All such attendees must register as guests to participate in meeting activities, at the cost of $75 per guest. Children under the age of 16 may attend the meeting for free.Guests include any interested party not professionally or a student in the field of agricultural economics or applied economics, or a related discipline. Colleagues and/or students cannot be registered as guestsRegistered guests will receive a name badge and are invited to attend the Welcome Reception at no additional charge. | |||
| Cancellation/Changes: Cancellations of meeting registrations are subject to a $50 processing fee. After July 5, no refunds will be given for meeting registrations or special event tickets. If AAEA cancels the 2024 Annual Meeting, any paid registration fee will be refunded. PC13 Demystifying Institutional Employment Opportunities for EconomistsStudent Waivers for Registration and Annual MeetingWaivers are restricted to AAEA graduate student members only. To apply, submit one paragraph (no more than 200 words) explaining why you should be considered for the waiver, and 2 questions that you want to be asked by the panelists. Complete the application by extended to May 15th.
Workshop and AAEA Annual Meeting attendance required. Application is available here. If accepted, you will receive complimentary PC13 workshop registration and AAEA 2024 Annual Meeting Registration.
