AAEA Trust Now Accepting Proposals – Deadline October 15
The AAEA Trust supports the work of agricultural and applied economists by funding programs, initiatives, activities, or other creative endeavors designed to advance the profession. Proposals are chosen to receive funding based on their ability to accomplish at least one of the following goals:
- support graduate student and early career professional development
- enhance the AAEA Annual Meeting
- broaden participation in AAEA across the year (beyond annual meetings)
- address strategic goals to be more inclusive through outreach to new groups
- broaden the horizons of the current membership

Call for Volunteers—Citizen Science Project
The AAEA Government Relations Committee would like to make members aware of an effort by the American Statistical Association to monitor changes in federal datasets: Citizen Science Project. C-FARE did a LinkedIn post (https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7483866656113360897) about this recently and encourages participation from AAEA Members.

The AAEA South Asia Section (SAS) invites graduate students to submit their research papers for the 2026 SAS Graduate Student Symposium. Job-market candidates are particularly encouraged to submit their job market papers. The symposium will offer a structured, inclusive platform for graduate students to present their ongoing research and receive substantive feedback from faculty and peers, supporting AAEA's broader commitment to strengthening research capacity, promoting methodological rigor, and preparing the next generation of agricultural and applied economists.
