Call for Submissions: CWAE Track Sessions at AAEA 2020

CWAE invites submissions for section-sponsored track sessions at the 2020 AAEA Annual Meeting. We have been allotted 4 sessions for AAEA 2020 and welcome submissions of individual papers as well as complete sessions on topics that would be of interest to our membership.

Submissions of individual papers should include a two-page, single-spaced abstract that provides a clear explanation of what will be presented at the Annual Meeting. Authors should include in this abstract a discussion of the relevance of the topic, research methodology, and potential for generating discussion during the meeting. If a more complete draft of the paper is available, please include a link to the document. At least one author must be a member of CWAE. Submissions of individual papers will be grouped to form sessions on a cohesive theme/topic.

Proposals for complete sessions should use the submission form. Sessions may be panel discussions, 4-5 papers with or without discussant, or another more creative format.

Priority will be given to junior women and persons of color, but we will consider submissions from everyone. The term "junior " usually refers to a person who is untenured, or who has received his/her Ph.D. less than seven years ago, but could refer to a person who has not yet presented papers widely.

Abstracts are due by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, November 25 and should be submitted to aaea.cwae@gmail.com. Notifications will be provided no later than December 3. Please contact CWAE President-Elect, Joyce Chen (chen.1276@osu.edu), with questions.
