Session Description: This track session examines the multiple channels through which China’s investment in Latin America may influence the region’s future agricultural development and trade dynamics. In addition, it seeks to assess whether and how deepening China–Latin America economic ties could affect the region’s engagement with the United States, particularly with respect to agricultural trade flows, value?chain integration, and potential policy spillovers.
