All of the meeting activities for the 2013 AAEA & CAES Joint Annual Meeting will take place at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park. The deadline to reserve a hotel room is Thursday, July 11. After that date the rates below cannot be guaranteed.

Getting to the Meeting

Attendees flying to the meeting can use the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) which is the closest airport to downtown Washington, DC. A second option is the Dulles International Airport (IAD) located about 40 minutes from downtown.

Airport Shuttle

AAEA has partnered with SuperShuttle to help assist with your transportation needs. SuperShuttle is offering discounted rates for all 2013 Joint Annual Meeting attendees. In order to receive the discounted rates, you must book your reservation online using the above link. Upon arrival at the airport proceed to the outside curb and contact the SuperShuttle representative.

Public Transportation

The Washington Marriott Wardman Park is conveniently located at the Woodley Park stop on the Metro Rail's Red Line. Fares start at $1.70 per trip. The Metro Rail station is connected to the concourse level of terminals B and C at Reagan National Airport. To access the station from terminal A, exit the terminal to the streetside curb, and board any “Airport Shuttle” bus. At the stops for Terminal B/C or Parking Garages B and C you may access an enclosed bridge which connects to the Metrorail station. Metro Rail fare cards may be purchased at machines located at all entrances to the Airport Metro Rail station.
