Ray A. Goldberg

This Appreciation Club recognizes Dr. Ray A. Goldberg for his commitment and work in agribusiness economics and management. Ray’s career has been devoted to providing an integrated research and education program in agribusiness. Together with John H. Davis he developed the Agribusiness Program at Harvard Business School in 1955. From 1970 to 1997 he was the Moffett Professor of Agriculture and Business and head of the Agribusiness Program. Ray’s former graduate students have served in leadership positions in academia and in many firms throughout the food economy.   In honor of his accomplishments, this fund is dedicated to helping train the next generation of graduate students working in agribusiness economics and management, assisting in student travel to participate in the Graduate Student Case Study Competition and other student events.
