CWAE Subcommittees

There are a number of permanent and standing sub-committees of CWAE. The committee chairs and the responsibilities of the committees are outlined below:

Membership	Xiaohui Sarah Deng	To provide membership services, keep a roster of members, and address the recruitment of new members.
International	Madhu Khanna	To organize international outreach events and co-ordinate with the IAAE.
Fellowship	Cheryl Doss	To manage the Sylvia Lane Mentor Fellowship Program, which includes fundraising, announcing, selecting, and placing Fellows.
Professional Activities	Vicky Salin	To plan, encourage, and co-ordinate professional activities at the annual AAEA meetings. To provide statistical information as needed on the status of women in the profession.
CWAENET	Janet Perry	To manage the list and the postings for the Internet discussion group.
Elections	Maria Marshall and Cheryl Brown	To compile the list of nominees for the Board, tabulate the ballot, notify the Board, the candidates, and the newsletter editor(s) of the election outcome, and address the election procedures.
Tracking	Jennie Popp	To conduct the longitudinal survey of women and minorities in the profession.
Arrangement	Doris Newton	To conduct the longitudinal survey of women and minorities in the profession.
Newsletter	Leonie Marks and Sian Mooney	The Chair of the Newsletter sub-committee serves as the editor of the newsletter. Other sub-committee members provide assistance in the planning and production of the newsletter.
Graduate Student	Jessica Grace Perdew and Michelle Mullins	To identify and address the particular needs of the graduate student members, and to strive to increase the involvement of graduate students in the AAEA.
