AAEA's outreach efforts are designed to share the best research of AAEA members to those outside the profession, and to promote the exchange of information among professionals that will enhance member outreach.

Choices Magazine

Choices is the principal outreach vehicle of AAEA. Published quarterly, it is designed to provide current coverage regarding economic implications of food, farm, resource, or rural community issues directed toward a broad audience. Choices is a free, online-only publication.

Policy Issues

Policy Issues is a series of peer-reviewed articles which contain short analyses/discussions focusing on timely policy issues. Policy Issues is a free, online-only publication.

Shared Outreach Materials Library

The Shared Outreach Materials Library on the AAEA website allows AAEA members to post and access outreach materials that they have created or are currently using. This library is only available to current AAEA members.

Choices Webinars

Each issue of Choices is accompanied by a webinar featuring authors of articles in that issue discussing their research. Visit the Choices Webinars page to view archived versions of these webinars, and to learn more about upcoming webinars.

Information and Resources

AAEA has compiled information on the profession to serve as a resource for members and for those outside of the profession. These resources include a current list of universities with agricultural and applied economics departments, which is updated regularly.
