New Features of the AAEA Web Site

Below we've put together a list of just a few of the new things you'll see on www.aaea.org. If you have any questions about any of these features, or any other aspect of the Web site, feel free to contact Info@aaea.org.

My Account Section

We've created a single login used to access everything you'll do with AAEA. Once you login, you can update your contact information, access the journals online, and submit an employment ad, all in one place. The My Account section has replaced the Members Only section for current members.

Membership Directory

The AAEA Membership Directory has been completely revamped, to allow you to connect with colleagues and search for members based on a variety of criteria. Members can access the new directory through the My Account section.

My Profile

With our new My Profile feature, you can easily review and update the information that AAEA has on file for you, in real-time. You also can change your preferences for things like which e-mails you would like to receive from AAEA and if you would like to receive print versions of the journals. You can find the My Profile section in the My Account Section.

Career Opportunities

We have developed an entirely new Career Opportunities section, designed to allow you to easily search and view open positions in agricultural economics. Prospective employers also have more options regarding their ads, and potential applicants can submit resumes to a completely revamped resume bank.

Outreach

We have designed a new portal for all of AAEA’s outreach efforts. It includes information about our outreach publications (such as Choices and Policy Issues), as well as links to resources designed to help those in the field of agricultural economics.

We aren't done developing new ideas and features for the Web site. Over the next several months you can expect to see additional new features, including timely content relevant to our members, more options to allow our members to interact with AAEA and each other, and more power and flexibility in how you do business with AAEA.
