TravelERA NOT an AAEA Housing Vendor

It has come to our attention TravelERA is inaccurately representing itself as an AAEA “housing vendor" by contacting members and soliciting business. TravelERA claims to offer hotel reservations within the AAEA block on your behalf.  Some are misrepresenting that they are calling from the Washington Marriott Wardman Park.

AAEA is not utilizing the services of any housing service for AAEA 2018 Annual Meeting.

Reservations for 2018 AAEA Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C., should be made directly with the hotel, either by phone to (202) 328-2000 (ask for AAEA 2018 Annual Meeting to receive the discounted rate) or on the web reservation system here: https://book.passkey.com/go/d4a3b48a.

If you provide your credit card information to any of these unauthorized vendors, your card may be charged but you may not have a reservation when you arrive in Washington, D.C.
