Events at the 2017 Annual Meeting run from Saturday, July 29 through Wednesday, August 2, with the main portion of the meeting from July 30 to August 1.
Most attendees work in academic departments, government agencies, NGOs, and in the private sector in the fields of agricultural and applied economics.
The 2016 AAEA Annual Meeting in Boston, drew in over 1,500 attendees from 300 different organizations and 35 countries. We’re expecting close to 1,400 attendees in Chicago, IL.
