Susan Offutt called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. Central Daylight Time.

Board members addressed the selection of AAEA Fellows for 2003. Jon Brandt moved the selection of Keith Collins, Vernon Eidman, GianCarlo Moschini, Ronald Knutson, Jeffrey Perloff and John Quiggin as the Fellows for 2003. Jean Kinsey seconded. Approved.

The board discussed the AAEA budget, revenue shortfall and options for increasing dues and/or cutting services. No actions were taken.

Harry Kaiser moved the approval of Chris Barrett, Cornell University, as one of the new editors for the American Journal of Agricultural Economics. Barrett's term of service would be four years. Seconded by Cathy Kling. Approved.
