Bruce L. Gardner

In recognition of Professor Bruce Gardner’s contributions as his profession’s leading agricultural policy economist for nearly four decades; his substantial role in shaping U.S. farm policy during two presidential administrations; his service in the most influential government offices closely associated with his profession; his achievements in university and AAEA leadership; his extensive research contributions, graduate student mentoring, and books illuminating agricultural policy issues; and his intelligent practicality, unifying ability, leadership impartiality, and example as a human being; this fund is dedicated: to foster substantive impacts on agricultural and related policies based on sound theoretical and methodological foundations.
