Awards and Honors

Professional success depends on professional recognition. AAEA takes pride in recognizing the outstanding contributions of its members in two distinct ways: at the Awards Ceremony at the Annual Meeting, and with the announcement of each year's class of AAEA Fellows.

AAEA Fellows

AAEA also recognizes a small group of professionals each year who have made outstanding continuous contributions to the profession. They are named AAEA Fellows, and are recognized as such at the Annual Meeting. This is AAEA's most prestigious honor. The AAEA Fellows page lists those that have been given this designation. Full biographies of each Fellow can be found in the proceedings issue of AJAE in the year in which they received the designation.

AAEA Annual Awards

Each year at the Annual Meeting, an Awards Ceremony is held that recognizes AAEA members' contributions to the profession in a variety of different categories. You can learn how to submit a nomination for an award and find past award winners on the AAEA Annual Awards page.
