Most of the meeting activities for the 2012 AAEA Annual Meeting will take place at the Washington State Convention Center, with some activities taking place at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel. The deadline to reserve a hotel room is July 10. After that date the rates below cannot be guaranteed.

Getting to the Meeting

Attendees flying to the meeting can use the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA-TAC). Below you will find more information about the options available to reach the meeting facilities from the airport.

Airport Shuttle

AAEA has partnered with the Shuttle Express/Downtown Airporter to help provide for your transportation needs. A one way cost is $15 per person and roundtrip fare cost per person is $25. The Downtown Airporter departs from Level 3 of the Parking garage, Island 2. Follow the signs to ground transportation, taxis, limos, hotel shuttles on the third floor of the parking garage.

Public Transportation

The Link Light Rail will take you into downtown Seattle. The SeaTac/Airport Station is connected to the fourth floor of the airport garage. Tickets are $2.75 each way and exact change is required.

Rental Car

If you plan on renting a car for your time in Seattle, we recommend booking through Hertz Rent-a-Car. They have offered to give Annual Meeting attendees a discounted rate. Click on the Hertz logo below to make a reservation with the discounted rate.
