Most of the meeting activities for the 2011 AAEA & NAREA Joint Annual Meeting will take place at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, with some activities taking place at the Westin Convention Center, Pittsburgh.

All of the rooms reserved at the Westin have been booked. However, there still are rooms available at the Omni William Penn Hotel.

Reservation Deadline

The deadline to reserve a room for the Joint Annual Meeting has been extended to June 27. After that date, the rates above cannot be guaranteed for the Omni.

Getting to the Meeting

Attendees flying to the meeting can use the Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT). Below you will find more information about the options available to reach the meeting facilities from the airport.

Airport Shuttle

AAEA has received a discounted rate for meeting attendees to use the SuperShuttle Pittsburgh. A roundtrip fare to the Westin or Omni will only cost $34 if you use the discount code 8LV2E when you book online. To access the SuperShuttle, visit the SuperShuttle customer service counter located on the baggage claim level in the rental car area behind the elevators by Door 4.

Taxi

Taxis from the airport will take about 30 minutes and cost approximately $45. Fares do not increase based on the number of passengers.

Public Transportation

The 28X Airport Flyer Busway will take you into downtown Pittsburgh. The bus stops about 3 blocks away from the Westin and convention center. Tickets are $2.75 each way and exact change is required.

Rental Car
