Membership/Meeting Registration Requirements

All presenters/discussants/panelists, etc. at the Joint Annual Meeting must:

  • Be a member of their organization (AAEA or ACCI) by May 1
  • Register for the Joint Annual Meeting by May 1

If these deadlines are not met, the corresponding presentation/session will be withdrawn from the program.

 

AAEA Requests for Waiver

AAEA participants who are not members of the agricultural (and related) economics fields, and therefore not members of AAEA may be considered for a waiver of the membership requirement and/or meeting registration requirement on a case-by-case basis.

Such requests must be submitted in writing to AAEA no later than March 16, 2009. The waiver decision will be made by the AAEA President. No waivers will be considered for Selected Presentations. Please submit all requests for waivers to Kristin Agard, at Kristin@aaea.org.

 

ACCI Requests for Waiver

ACCI participants who are not members of the consumer policy (and related) fields, and therefore not members of ACCI may be considered for a waiver of the membership requirement and/or meeting registration requirement on a case-by-case basis.

Such requests must be forwarded in writing to ACCI no later than March 16, 2009. The waiver decision will be made by the ACCI President. No waivers will be considered for Competitive Presentations. Please submit all requests for waivers to Sharon Burns at sburns@consumerinterests.org.

 

Audio/Visual Equipment Provided

Please note that each presentation room will be equipped with an LCD projector, screen, and microphone. Presenters will be responsible for bringing their own laptop, if needed.

NOTE: Overhead projectors and laptop computers are not provided. Please plan accordingly.
