Make plans now to attend the 2007 Joint Annual Meeting in Portland, Oregon. This year's Annual Meeting is a joint effort between the American Agricultural Economics Association, the Western Agricultural Economics Association, and the Canadian Agricultural Economics Society. This year's meeting features dynamic Plenary Sessions, concurrent sessions, attended poster sessions, and Speaker Series luncheons and banquets including: the Galbraith Forum, the Industry and International Banquets as well as the CWAE, COSBAE, and Extension Speaker Series events.
Leaders from AAEA, WAEA, and CAES have lined up featured speakers that will address the "Applied Economics for Global Issues" in a lively environment with plenty of opportunities for networking. Look for new events like the "Breakfast with Dasgupta and Smith" as well as annual events like the Galbraith Forum and Luncheon. Each organization will present Keynote Speakers and offer Presidential and Fellows Addresses in the Plenary Sessions. Join the organizations as they honor excellence at award ceremonies and instill vision with support of Student Sections and Graduate Student Sections.
