Most of Catalina Island is a wilderness preserve, but don't be fooled...there are recreational activities, tours, shopping and a variety of restaurants to keep you busy while enjoying the beauty of the Island. Just 22 miles across the sea, you will take a one-hour boat ride to Catalina. You will have a choice of a tour or activity. There will also be time to browse through the unique Catalina shops.
LA Dodgers vs St. Louis Cardinals
Since 1962, the beauty of Dodger Stadium has awed spectators with a breath-taking view of downtown Los Angeles to the south; green, tree-lined Elysian hills to the north and east; and the San Gabriel Mountains beyond. More than 3,400 trees cover the 300 acres of beautiful landscape, which is maintained by a full-time staff of gardeners. Dodger Stadium was named the best in baseball by Sports Ilustrated in 2003 in a poll of Major League players. Of course, the popcorn, peanuts and baseball are great too!
Tuesday Evening Extravaganza Dinner Cruise
Tour the Long Beach/Los Angeles Harbors for a private AAEA Dinner Cruise around one of the most active ports in the world. The captain tells tales of the seas while the cook whips up a gourmet delight in the galley, leaving plenty of time for conversation with friends.
