Awards & Fellows

Join your peers in honoring the achievements and accomplishments of AAEA members over the past year. The Awards Ceremony will begin Tuesday evening, July 25, with the Academic Bowl finals at 5:15 pm. at the Long Beach Convention Center in the Grand Ballroom. Awards will be granted in many areas of the agricultural economics discipline, including research, teaching, extension, policy, communications and other areas.

Like last year, the 2006 AAEA Fellows will be recognized on Sunday evening, separately from other award winners. This gives our members an opportunity to congratulate the winners of this year's prestigious Fellows title throughout the meeting. The official announcement of the 2006 Class of Fellows will be made Sunday, July 23, at 6:30 p.m. at the Long Beach Convention Center in the Grand Ballroom in conjunction with the Keynote Address.
