from past meetings, including the AAEA Opening Reception, Galbraith
Forum Luncheon, International Banquet, Industry Banquet, Fellows

reunions and paper/poster sessions. We have created some fun networking

- ACCI
and AERE members are coming to our Annual Meeting! Read about
ACCI and AERE below:
- Association
of Environmental and Resource Economists (AERE) - Each
year, the AERE summer meetings are held jointly with the AAEA
Annual Meeting. These meetings feature a number of sessions
(usually seven) and a well-attended reception. Founded in
1979, AERE was established as a means of exchanging ideas,
stimulating research, and promoting graduate training in resource
and environmental economics. AERE currently has nearly 800
members from more than 30 nations, from academic institutions,
the public sector and private industry. Their interests range
from traditional environmental and natural resource economics,
to issues in agricultural economics, public health, energy

- American
Council on Consumer Interests (ACCI) - This year, for
the first time ever, ACCI will hold one session as part of
the Food Safety and Nutrition Section track at our Annual
Meeting. This will offer ACCI and AAEA members an exciting
opportunity to connect and network. Since 1953, ACCI has been,
and remains, the leading membership organization for academics
and other professionals involved in consumer research and education.
ACCI is the leading consumer policy research and education
organization consisting of a worldwide community of researchers,
educators and related professionals dedicated to enhancing
